Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the ‘Jana Nayakudu’ initiative at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office in Kuppam on Tuesday. The program is designed to provide a platform for the public to voice their grievances and submit petitions for prompt resolution.
The Chief Minister also launched the official ‘Jana Nayakudu’ website during the event, enabling people to register complaints and track their resolution online. Speaking on the occasion, he directed Chittoor District Collector Sumit Kumar to ensure timely action on all received petitions.
At the event, CM Chandrababu Naidu personally interacted with citizens, received petitions, and issued on-the-spot instructions to officials for resolving issues. He inspected the grievance redressal process and inquired about the staff’s capabilities to handle complaints through the newly introduced digital platform.
Later, at NTR Stadium, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones and inaugurated several major projects aimed at boosting the region's development under the “Swarna Kuppam” initiative.
The projects include Mother Dairy Processing Plant which is being set up at a cost of Rs. 105.10 crore at Tambiganipalli in an area of 41.22 acres, is to create employment for 4,800 individuals and support for 50,000 farmers.
Other notable projects include Srija Producer Company @ Rs. 233 crore in Tambiganipalli, to create employment for 4,000 individuals and participation of 1,00,000 women farmers. Cattle Feed Factory in Shantipuram Mandal to enhance support for the dairy industry.
The Chief Minister also laid foundations to Urban Development Projects in Kuppam Municipality @ Rs. 10 crore for constructing integrated complex with a command-and-control room and guest houses for officials.
Other infrastructure upgrades include development of parks, beautification of DK Palli, road junctions, and streetlights, along with 451 drainage works in the Kuppam constituency funded by GSH 11-SDP.
The Chief Minister witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Kuppam Area Development Authority and the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP).
The MoU focuses on promoting women entrepreneurs and developing the region socially and economically, with the establishment of Women Shakti Bhavan and Green Industrial Park that creates employment opportunities to over 4,000 women, benefiting 1900 families.
The initiative will provide infrastructure, training, and capacity-building for 175 women’s self-help groups and encourage their participation in the MSME sector.
