NTR Memorial Trust Managing Trustee Nara Bhuvaneswari on Thursday emphasised that discipline, determination and strong values are the foundation of success, urging students to dream big and work consistently towards their goals. As part of the second day of her tour in the Kuppam constituency, she visited Paramasamadram village and interacted extensively with students and teachers at local government-run schools.

During her visit, Bhuvaneswari toured the Kasturba Gandhi Girls School (KGBV) and a Gurukulam School, even travelling with students in an auto-rickshaw from KGBV to the Gurukulam campus. She later took part in the Viluvula Badi programme at Samaguttapalli. At KGBV, she participated in an informal face-to-face session with students and joined them for lunch before addressing the gathering.

Declaring that “there is no shortcut to success,” Bhuvaneswari reminded students that parents work tirelessly to ensure their children receive a good education. “You must uphold their trust. Along with games and fun, students should maintain focus on their careers. Success comes only through hard work,” she said.

Citing examples from the lives of NTR, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Dhirubhai Ambani and N. Chandrababu Naidu, she highlighted how each of them rose to prominence through sheer perseverance. “Chandrababu garu used to walk 6 km to school in his childhood. My parents were my inspiration. My father struggled immensely and even sold milk door-to-door before attending school,” she recalled.

She encouraged students to pursue both academics and sports and assured that NTR Trust would always support students excelling in athletics. Bhuvaneswari also announced that 20 computers would be provided to KGBV and essential equipment would be arranged for nursing students.

Appreciating the founders of the Viluvula Badi initiative, she said moral instruction is essential in shaping responsible citizens. She praised Education Minister Nara Lokesh for reintroducing Moral Science as a subject in schools and expressed happiness over government schools displaying “Admissions Closed” boards due to rising enrolment.

“Technology is often misused in today’s society. Mothers play a crucial role in imparting values and culture from an early age,” she added, sharing personal anecdotes about raising Lokesh when Chandrababu Naidu was busy in public life.
