Andhra Pradesh Principal Secretary of Excise department Mukesh Kumar Meena on Wednesday took charge as principal secretary of General Administration (Political) and GAD Services in the first building of the state secretariat on Wednesday. 

     He also continues to hold full additional charge to the post of Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue (Excise) and also full additional charge of the posts of Prl.Secy to Govt, (Services &HRM) General Administration Department. Similarly, S. Suresh Kumar, Principal Secretary (Infrastructure & Investments) took charge as principal secretary (Municipal Administration & Urban Development). 

   The above two officials got transferred as part of the transfer exercise of twenty five  IAS officials done by the Andhra Pradesh government on Monday, i.e 20th of January. Several secretariat officials and employees met Mukesh Kumar Meena and  Suresh Kumar and conveyed their  best wishes on the occasion of taking over.
