Medchal-Malkajgiri Additional Collector Faizan Ahmed on Monday directed officials to ensure that petitions received through the Prajavani public grievance programme are resolved without delay, stressing that prompt action is essential to maintain public trust in the administration.
At the Prajavani programme held at the district Collectorate, Faizan Ahmed, along with Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy and District Revenue Officer Malathi, received 78 petitions from residents of different parts of the district.
“People come to us after spending considerable time, effort and money with the hope that their grievances will be resolved. It is our responsibility to uphold that trust by ensuring every petition is examined and addressed without unnecessary delay,” the Additional Collector said.
He instructed officials to process applications promptly and avoid delays in scrutiny. In cases where petitions are rejected, he said applicants must be informed of the reasons in a clear and transparent manner. Faizan Ahmed also directed all departments to upload action taken reports on every petition to the online monitoring system immediately to ensure accountability and effective tracking of grievance redressal.
