GHMC Additional Commissioner Raghuprasad has urged officials to address public grievances without delay and ensure written responses are provided to applicants, specifying the resolution timeline for personal and civic issues. He shared these directives during the Prajavani program held on Monday at the GHMC head office in Hyderabad.
Officials, including Additional Commissioners Venugopal, Satyanarayana, Geetha Radhika Pankaj, and Aliveelu Mangatayaru, received and reviewed petitions submitted by citizens from various corners of the city. Instructions were issued for immediate action where possible.
Out of 170 petitions submitted during the event, 72 were received at the head office. These included 39 related to Town Planning, 10 to Engineering, 7 to Sanitation and Health, 4 to Finance, 3 to Tax, and one each for Estate, Sports, Vigilance, Electrical, and Land Acquisition. Additionally, 4 complaints came in via phone. Across the six GHMC zones, 98 petitions were submitted: Kukatpally (34), Serilingampally (18), Secunderabad (16), LB Nagar (15), Charminar (13), and Khairatabad (2). Officials such as CE Ratnakar, Additional CCP B. Venkanna, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Padmaja, and others attended the program.
