On the ninth day of their indefinite strike, contract Assistant Professors from Osmania University gathered in front of the Administrative Building at 11 a.m. to demand regularization of their services. They referenced Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's statement at the Bharat Summit in Hyderabad, advocating for justice and equality, and urged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to act on the Supreme Court's "equal pay for equal work" verdict.

The professors requested immediate implementation of the UGC pay scale, including Basic, DA, HRA, and annual increments, along with job security. Earlier today, the delegation met MLC Prof. Kodandaram at his residence, seeking his intervention. They expressed concerns over government-issued GOs that fail to address their demands and jeopardize their jobs.

Prof. Kodandaram assured the delegation, including Dr. Dharmateja, Dr. Parasuram, Dr. Kumar, and Dr. Upender, that he would discuss their issues with the CM and work towards a resolution within two days.
