Wins Rotary India National CSR Award 2025
Nava Limited has been honoured with the Rotary India National CSR Award 2025 for the Southern Region at a ceremony held on Friday at Chanchari Pavilion, Bengaluru. The award was presented by the President of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FICCI-FLO) to the company’s representatives, including the President and Unit Head, Company Secretary and Vice President, and General Manager (CSR). The award recognises Nava Limited’s sustained efforts in social development through its various health, education, and livelihood initiatives.
At the Nava Bharat Eye Centre in Paloncha, more than 10.3 lakh people have been screened since 2011, and over 51,000 eye surgeries have been performed, with 50% done free of cost. The company has also conducted dental and haemoglobin screening programmes for students of government schools in Paloncha, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, providing preventive dental and anaemia treatments for about 1,100 students each year.
Nava Limited has installed 28 safe drinking water plants near its industrial units to ensure access to clean water and reduce waterborne diseases. Medical and physiotherapy equipment has been provided to the Police Community Welfare Hospital in Kothagudem, serving around 7,000 people.
In education, the company runs a science learning programme for about 2,000 students annually, provides free evening tuitions for 1,200 students from poor families, and has distributed 10,000 desks to government schools, benefiting 30,000 students.
Through its Women Empowerment Centre established in 2013, 4,370 women have been trained so far, including 822 during 2023–25, with 75% now earning between Rs 5,000 and Rs 8,000 per month through self-employment. The company has also supported environmental initiatives by providing camera traps to the forest division at Deverakonda.
