Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday expressed confidence that the Congress party is creating a massive wave in the ongoing local body elections across Telangana. Speaking at a felicitation meeting of newly elected sarpanches at Madhira constituency headquarters, he said the party has already won around 85 percent of the seats, reflecting the people’s strong support for the welfare and development initiatives undertaken by the Indiramma government.

Bhatti Vikramarka described the results as historic, with Congress leaders emerging victorious in large numbers. He emphasized that the panchayat elections were conducted peacefully and in a highly democratic manner, and the outcome has been encouraging. The Deputy Chief Minister assured that regardless of which candidates were elected, the government will ensure justice and balanced development across all villages in the constituency.

Highlighting the efforts of Congress workers, he praised their dedication and hard work in securing this remarkable victory. Bhatti also spoke about Telangana’s economic progress, noting that the state has achieved the highest per capita income in India, surpassing even developed states like Gujarat.

Referring to the Vision Document 2047, he outlined future plans for infrastructure, including dams, roads, bullet trains, and the establishment of industries, educational institutions, pharma, and IT parks. He said the state aims to achieve a three-trillion-dollar economy by 2047, with provisions for 1.39 lakh megawatts of power already planned.

Bhatti further highlighted that within hours of releasing the Vision Document, Telangana attracted investments worth ₹5.75 lakh crore, signaling strong investor confidence. He added that large-scale investments are expected to continue, propelling the state’s growth trajectory in the years to come.

This victory and the economic vision underline the growing support for the Congress party and its development-focused governance in Telangana.
