Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Monday tweeted in social media platform X praising former Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew describing him as a symbol of the concept of  "one person's courage gives majority" . He said that  the aspirations of a country will be made a reality through complete determination and leadership. It's great to travel from Singapore's ordinary fishing village to the global powerhouse.

The Deputy CM described Singapore's transformation from an ordinary fishing village to the global powerhouse as a testimony to the foresight, leadership and determination of Lee Kuan Yew. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Mr. Edgar Pang, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore and Mrs. Vaishnavi, Consul, for their gifting him the books “Hard Truths to Keep Singapore Going”  and “One Man's View of the World.

He further tweeted "These invaluable books provide in-depth insights into governance and leadership. We look forward to strengthening our ties to build the future of shared progress between Singapore and Andhra Pradesh.” Pawan Kalyan said that this will strengthen the relationship with India.
