PM Modi Inaugurates Sindhu Cancer Hospital

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the Sindhu Multi Super Speciality Hospital in Hitech City, a major healthcare facility established with a special focus on advanced cancer treatment and critical care services. Built with a capacity of nearly 1,500 beds, the hospital is scheduled to begin medical services for patients from Monday.

The hospital will offer specialised treatment in cancer care along with services in 33 super speciality departments. The facility houses more than 150 consultation rooms, 29 state-of-the-art operation theatres, intensive care units, and advanced quaternary care infrastructure designed to treat complex and critical illnesses.

Prime Minister Modi reached Hitec City by helicopter and formally inaugurated the hospital following traditional rituals. After the launch event, he attended a public meeting at Parade Grounds in Hyderabad.

The inauguration programme was attended by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, senior state ministers, hospital management officials, and medical experts.
