Renowned poet, writer, and columnist N Rama Devi has been named the recipient of the Kaloji Narayana Rao Literary Award for 2025 by the Telangana Government. The award, instituted in memory of the People’s Poet Kaloji Narayana Rao, is presented annually by the Department of Language and Culture.

An expert committee led by noted poet Ande Sri selected Rama Devi for her significant literary contributions.  Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy congratulated her, highlighting the importance of the award in honoring literary excellence. The award will be presented during the Kaloji Birth Anniversary celebrations on Telangana Language Day, September 9, at Ravindra Bharathi.
