He purchased Ganja from a supplier named Rahul in Ganjam for Rs 5,000 per kg and sold it in Hyderabad for Rs 20,000 per kg, making a profit of Rs 15,000 per kg.
On March 3, the HNEW team and Tukaramgate Police apprehended Palai with 10.3 kg of Ganja, a Hero Splendor bike, a weighing machine, a mobile phone, and Rs. 1,210 in cash. The seized Ganja was found in various forms, including bricks and sachets.
