Policybazaar celebrated real-life health insurance claim successes at its fourth edition of Insurance Ka Superhero held in Hyderabad on Friday. The event emphasized the company’s commitment to fair, transparent, and timely claim settlements, providing critical support to families during medical emergencies.

Customers and non-customers shared emotional stories of how Policybazaar helped reopen rejected or stalled claims, showcasing the efforts of the platform’s “Superheroes” who ensured smooth approvals with insurer partners. Sarbvir Singh, Joint Group CEO, PB Fintech, said, “Families already facing hospitalisation and mounting medical bills shouldn’t struggle with claim formalities. Health insurance is meant to ease these burdens, and that is possible when claims are processed quickly and efficiently.”

Customers at the event highlighted the impact: Murali shared how his father’s Stage 4 cancer treatment costing over Rs 1.2 crore, including 25 immunotherapy sessions, was fully covered after Policybazaar intervened. Marella Srinivasa Rao described how his Rs 6 lakh heart disease treatment claim was swiftly approved with Policybazaar’s guidance, even during late-night hours.

Hyderabad-specific data revealed over 80% health insurance renewal rates, with 71% of policyholders insured for more than Rs 5 lakh, reflecting growing financial awareness.
