Superstar Prabhas, who has cemented his place as one of India’s biggest pan-India stars with blockbusters like Baahubali, Adipurush, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, and the recently released Kalki 2898 AD, recently shared a key memory about his collaboration with the celebrated production house Hombale Films.

Reflecting on their association during Salaar, Prabhas recalled a moment from the sets of K.G.F., the production house’s earlier project helmed by Prashanth Neel. “It was Prashanth Neel’s first film with Hombale and his second overall. The set caught fire during filming, and with the budget already high, everyone was tense. But Vijay sir told us, ‘Relax, don’t worry about the money — just get the product right,’” said Prabhas.

He added, “I’ve heard similar stories from Kantara and other projects. Vijay sir always tells his team that quality is the top priority. That’s what makes him and Hombale Films different. I want to work with them because they never compromise.”

Hombale Films has emerged as one of the leading production houses in Indian cinema, known for delivering pan-India successes like K.G.F: Chapter 1 & 2, Kantara, and Salaar. Their emphasis on technical brilliance, compelling storytelling, and cultural depth has set a benchmark for cinematic excellence. The K.G.F. franchise alone has collected an estimated Rs 1500 crore worldwide, placing it among the highest-grossing film franchises in Indian history. Directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash as the iconic Rocky Bhai, K.G.F. revolutionised action storytelling in Indian cinema.
