“Raakaasa” to have flat Rs 100 pricing in single screens

The makers of recently released ‘Raakaasa’ movie on Friday announced a Rs 100 flat ticket offer across single screens in AP & Telangana, effective from 10 April. In the current system, where pricing sensitivity directly impacts turnout - particularly in single-screen ecosystems - this initiative is expected to increase footfalls and encourage repeat viewing. Single screens continue to represent a significant volume driver across B and C centres, where affordability and group viewing play a central role in audience decisions.

By aligning pricing with these dynamics, Rākāsā aims to expand its reach while consolidating its presence. Produced by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Z Studios, and directed by Manasa Sharma, Rākāsā has Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in lead roles. As the summer window progresses, the Rs 100 ticket initiative is expected to act as a catalyst, translating existing audience goodwill into broader reach and sustained engagement.
