Former Vice President of India Padmavibhushan M. Venkaiah Naidu described that music has no age, music is Ocean, Its Great Indian Soul, rasavattaram mahattaram. A musical ensemble of 150 violinists was said to have feasted the eyes. Aarabhi The Center for Performing Arts celebrated its 28th anniversary at Shilpkalavedika on Saturday. A grand violin symphony with 150 musicians in the name of Nada Parampara was organized as a feast for the violins. Under the music direction of Kalaratna Dr. Ashok Gurjale, the one and a half hour musical extravaganza left the art lovers in awe.
Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, who was the chief guest, came and lit the Jyoti and inaugurated the music festival. This unique and diverse music concert organized by everyone from children to adults is amazing. Appreciated the penance of Indian music, the greatness of Indianness and the glory of musical heritage. He said that the mother is the root of the family system in India, and if women study, the family will develop. He said that he was emotional after listening to the hymns, tears flowed without realizing it, and it was as sweet as drinking nectar.
Mr Ashok Gurjale's musical work is amazing, Amogham said that it is an attempt to preserve the musical heritage of Indian culture by providing a unique musical message to the common people. Music is said to be a practice of Yagna Tapas. Discipline is important to rise in life, he said. He said that if you work hard for the life you love, there is no loss, but with continuous practice, you will achieve perfection. He expressed his concern that our history lessons are less about great people like Annamayya, Tyagayya, Katta Bommana and Jhansirani and more about Alexander and Robert Clive who looted the country.
Padma Shri Dr. Yella Venkateswara Rao said that Ashok Gurjale, the founder of Arabhi, has been providing violin services for five decades as unprecedented. Eminent mridanga scholars honored Palakurti Ramachandra Sharma with the title of Mridanga Nada Vibhushan. Padma Shri Dr. Deepika Reddy,Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Dr. Daruri Raghavachari, Trichur Brothers Dr Ramkumar Mohan, Mr G. Kishan Rao, Central University Incharge Vice Chancellor Dr. Jonnalagadda Anuradha, Collector Smt Sneha Sabarish, Film Actors Writer Mr Tanikella Bharani, TTD Dharma Prachar Parishad Additional Secretary Dr Dwibhashyam Kalyani, Mr Varanasi Sunamyam and others participated.
The violin symphony goes on like a rain of music, accompanied by clouds. Annamayya's kirtans and Tyagaraja's kriti were so loud and rhythmic that Jalu drowned in their flow of devotion. Beginning with Vatapi Ganapatim Bhaje, classical melodious hymns like Brahmakadigina Padam, Banturiti Koluvu, Raghuvamsa Sudha, Narayanate, Nagumomu, Brahmamokte Parabrahmokte, Paluke Bangaramayena mesmerized Jaluvari. Later, Swara Madhuri, Veda Naadam, Colors, Agni, Shanti and Niru songs in Violin fusion music. Young and senior artistes from the age of four participated in this symphony and showcased their talents.
