Ratha Yatra on July 19 in city

The Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad would conduct first-ever Sri Jagannath Ratha Yatra in Kokapet on Sunday, July 19, 2026. This sacred procession will feature the adorned Deities of Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra traveling from The Trilight, Golden Mile Layout Road in Kokapet to the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower, Narsingi–Kokapet, in a majestic Ratha with participation by hundreds of devotees all along the way. 

The procession would be accompanied by devotional music and large-scale community participation. The festivities commence at at 5 AM featuring Hare Krishna kirtans followed by the inaugural puja of Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra seated on their beautiful ratha. The event concludes at 8 PM with the final arati to Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra followed by dinner prasadam.

Releasing the Ratha Yatra poster and event details, His Grace Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji extended a warm invitation to devotees to participate in the event in large numbers. The Ratha Yatra program will be presided by His Grace Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, President, Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad and Regional President, Akshaya Patra (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh).
