Hyderabad: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Renova Group of Hospitals organized a Cancer Awareness Bike Rally across the city on Wednesday to spread awareness about cancer prevention, early detection and the importance of regular screening. The rally witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 300 bikers, carrying placards and raising awareness slogans. 

The primary objective of the initiative was to dispel myths surrounding cancer, encourage early diagnosis, and educate the public about preventive healthcare measures. The program was graced by Trinath Narukulla, Commandant, Special Protection Force, Telangana, as the Chief Guest, and K. Shashi Sree , Additional Director (Administration), Directorate of Public Health & Family Welfare, as the Guest of Honor. 

Trinath Narukulla stated that cancer, once considered a life-threatening disease, is now largely controllable and often curable with timely diagnosis, regular screening and appropriate treatment.
