Resonance Educational Institutions, Hyderabad, conducted a felicitation ceremony on Saturday to honor its student Padakanti Viswanath Karthikey, recipient of the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, conferred by President of India Droupadi Murmu in recognition of his exceptional national-level achievement and being the youngest Indian to complete the Seven Summits Challenge.
The 17-year-old Vishwanath Karthikey is an MPC Second Year student of Resonance Suchitra Campus. The ceremony was held at Resonance College, Suchitra Campus. On the occasion, Purna Chandra Rao, Managing Director, Resonance Educational Institutions felicitated Viswanath Karthikey and presented him with a Rs 3,00,000 cheque as a special recognition award in appreciation of his achievement and contribution.
Principals of various Resonance campuses, faculty members and staff participated in the event and expressed their pride in the student’s remarkable accomplishment. Speaking on the occasion, Purna Chandra Rao stated that Viswanath Karthikey’s Bal Puraskar is a matter of immense pride for the entire Resonance family and reiterated the institution’s commitment to nurturing such talent and encouraging students to serve as a positive force for society.
Expressing his gratitude, Viswanath Karthikey said that he was deeply honored to receive this recognition. He thanked the President of India, his parents and teachers at Resonance for their constant support and encouragement.
Viswanath’s parents said that they were extremely grateful to Resonance Educational Institutions for guiding and supporting their child throughout this journey. “This honor is a proud moment for our family, and we thank the management and faculty for their encouragement and values-driven mentorship.” they said.
