Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed his congratulations to Congress General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for her leadership in fostering opposition unity aimed at thwarting the undemocratic constitutional amendment put forward by the Union government, which seeks to undermine the power of southern India, the northeast, and smaller states.

Revanth Reddy met Priyanka Gandhi in New Delhi on Saturday and appreciated her for bringing the unity among the opposition parties against the Constitution Amendment Bill.

The Chief Minister said Priyanka has brilliantly exposed the truth behind the saga, and explained how the Parliament special session was not meant for Women's Bill (which has alread been unanamously passed) or Women Empowerment but using it as a mask to push an unacceptable delimitation agenda.

"On behalf of all people of Telangana, I thanked her for her extraordinary efforts in supporting Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge in uniting the entire opposition to save the future of the country. I found great inspriation from the encouraging and appreciative words from Priyanka Gandhi for my efforts to bring up south Indian unity and not only making public the terrible flaws in the BJP-proposed delimitation model but also for providing positive alternative options," Revanth Reddy said.
