Medchal-Malkajigiri district is gearing up for the village revenue conferences starting June 3. To ensure smooth execution, Additional Collector Vijayender Reddy, along with District Revenue Officers (DROs), conducted an orientation program for revenue officials and staff.

During the session held on Saturday, the Additional Collector elaborated on the proper procedures for the conferences. He emphasized that villages must be informed a day in advance and advised officials to ensure that applicants bring necessary documents. Applications should be categorized and promptly registered online with clear coding.

He stressed the availability of laptops, stationery, printers, and drinking water, alongside sufficient staffing for the event. Essential details such as survey numbers, land area, and acquisition history must be accurately recorded. Before processing, applications should be checked against the Dharani land records portal.

Receipts must be issued to all applicants, and necessary notices should be served while conducting field inspections. A daily evening report summarizing applications received is required. Identifying encroached government land and taking appropriate action to reclaim it was also highlighted as a priority.

Revenue officials, RDOs Upender Reddy and Shyam Prakash, tahsildars, and other staff participated in the meeting, ensuring coordinated efforts for the upcoming conferences.
