‘Right to livelihood and powers to panchayats must be ensured’

Mahabubnagar: Demanding the restoration of people’s right to livelihood, the return of administrative powers to panchayats, and the revival of the Rural Employment Guarantee Act, a Gram Sabha was organized in Madharam village as per the directions of AICC leader Meenakshi Natarajan.

At the Gram Sabha, villagers from Madharam and Hanwada mandals unanimously passed a resolution supporting these demands. On this occasion, Mahabubnagar District DCC President Sanjeev Mudiraj explained to the people the alleged anti-people policies and conspiracies of the BJP-led central government.

The meeting was presided over by Hanwada Mandal President Mahender.

The program was attended by village Sarpanch A. Sudarshan, Deputy Sarpanch Manjula Venkat Reddy, District Women’s President Vasantha, Hanwada Mandal Women’s President Navaneetha, Kisan Cell leader Mr. Gangi Reddy, and other leaders and villagers.
