In a coordinated operation, the sleuths of the SOT, LB Nagar Zone, along with the Hayath Nagar police, apprehended four Rohingya nationals and their four children illegally entered into India and obtained Indian National Identity cards and staying illegally.
They had used fake documents and fraudulent means to obtain Indian documents of identity and nationality claiming to be Indian nationals. A case has been registered in Hayath Nagar Police Station, Rachakonda. Arrested identified as Mohammed Arman (32), Mohammed Rumana Akther (26), Mohammed Nayeem (20) and Mohammed Haris (33). All four are originally from Myanmar.
The accused were staying at Pedda Amberpet and Bismillah colony while posing as Indian nationals. Police revealed that the group entered India illegally in 2011 and, using forged documents and false declarations, obtained Aadhaar cards, voter ID cards, PAN cards, bank passbooks, birth certificates, and other official documents.
On Tuesday, Hayath Nagar police produced the accused before the court for judicial remand. In this case two people are absconding. Efforts are put forth to apprehend them.
