The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board has sanctioned Rs.35.19 crore for major development works at the Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Kondagattu in Karimnagar district of Telangana, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu announced. The sanction followed a request by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Sri Pawan Kalyan, which was taken to the notice of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Subsequently, the TTD Board approved the funds to enhance pilgrim amenities. The development package includes the construction of a 96-room guesthouse and other infrastructure works aimed at improving facilities for devotees. Earlier, the Deputy CM and the TTD Chairman jointly laid the foundation stone for the project.
Pawan Kalyan expressed gratitude to the TTD Chairman and Board members for their support. Telangana Minister Adluri Lakshman was also present on the occasion.
