Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced that, for the first time in Telangana's history, the State government has disbursed Rs. 9,000 crore for the Rythu Bharosa scheme in a remarkable span of just 9 days. He expressed pride in the fact that the entire Rythu Bharosa initiative was completed within the short timeframe, from June 16 to June 24, setting a new record for the Telangana State.
During a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, Bhatti Vikramarka emphasised that the Congress-led Praja Government is actively executing various welfare programs and has allocated significant funds to implement Rythu Bharosa on an unprecedented level.
"While the previous assistance was Rs.10,000 per acre, the current government has added Rs.2,000 more, making it Rs.12,000 per acre. The Rythu Bharosa is being given for 1,49,39,111 acres. Unlike before where the benefit was limited to farmers with only 5 to 10 acres, the current scheme covers all agriculturally viable lands without restrictions," he disclosed.
Since this initiative follows the vision of the Congress party, the Deputy Chief Minister urged that the efforts of distributing nearly Rs.9,000 crore for about 1.5 crore acres in just 9 days should be widely publicised by mandal-level committees. He also called for grand celebrations across all mandal centers in Telangana. The meeting was also attended by TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, AICC Secretary Challa Vamsichand Reddy, and other Congress leaders.
