Renowned filmmaker Ramesh Varma launched his new banner, RV Film House, with its first project titled ‘Kokkoroko’, an anthology film featuring five unique characters.

The film marks the directorial debut of Srinivas Vasanthala, selected by Varma for his fresh storytelling vision.

The project was formally launched with a traditional pooja ceremony. Rekha Varma gave the muhurtham clap, while Kurapati Sireesha switched on the camera. The script was officially handed over to the director by Ramesh Varma, who also penned the story and screenplay.

GV Sagar, son of screenwriter G Satyamurthy and brother of music director Devi Sri Prasad, is writing dialogues for his second film as a writer after Rakshasudu. Cinematography is by Akash R Joshi, music by London-based Sankeerthan, and editing by Prawin Pudi.

Produced by Rekha Varma and Kurapati Sireesha, with Neelladri Production as co-producer, Kokkoroko blends emerging and seasoned talent. With visually rich storytelling and emotional depth, the film aims to offer a fresh take on the Telugu anthology genre. Filming begins soon.
