On legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s fifth death anniversary, Saira Banu shares an emotional note, remembering their enduring love, companionship and cherished memories

Veteran actress Saira Banu paid a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, legendary actor Dilip Kumar, on his fifth death anniversary on Monday. In an emotional social media post, she reflected on their lifelong companionship and said his memories continue to be her greatest strength.

Calling him Sahib, Saira wrote, “The most beautiful thing about life is that it never truly departs. It lingers... in memories. And memories, unlike time, are faithful companions.”

Remembering the actor, she said, “Five years have passed since Sahib departed from my sight, yet never from my life,” adding that his love and presence continue to live on through her memories.

Dilip Kumar, one of Indian cinema’s greatest actors, passed away on July 7, 2021, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations.
