BJP national leader and Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav has been entrusted with a key responsibility to lead and coordinate the party’s ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ across southern India, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s completion of 25 years in public service as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

The BJP national leadership has appointed Satya Kumar as the southern states’ campaign in-charge, citing his organisational experience as a national secretary, his coordination with party leadership across the region and his experience in implementing BJP programmes.

He will oversee the campaign across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Puducherry, Andaman and Lakshadweep. The month-long campaign will be conducted nationwide from September 17 to October 17, with BJP and NDA governments organising a range of public service and welfare initiatives.

According to party sources, the campaign aims to strengthen public participation in initiatives focused on public service, national development and the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat–2047’. Programs planned as part of the campaign include Aashirwad Ka Diya, Namo Seva Gatha, Aangan Ka Utsav, Kahani Badlav Ki and Seva Jyoti Yatra.

Minister Satya Kumar has already participated in preparatory workshops held in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Puducherry and Kerala. He also attended a statewide workshop in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, on Tuesday, where he guided party leaders and workers on campaign implementation, increasing public participation and organising service-oriented activities.
