The Jana Sena Party on Wednesday launched its dedicated youth wing, ‘Jai Kottu’, coinciding with the birthday of party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

Jana Sena Political Affairs Committee chairman and Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar unveiled the logo of the new youth wing at a grand event in Pithapuram, Kakinada district. The town witnessed a massive show of strength, with thousands of party supporters participating in a bike rally and raising slogans of “Jai Jana Sena” and “Jai Pawan Kalyan.”

Pawan Kalyan sent an audio message to the gathering. Manohar said that although the Deputy Chief Minister had been unable to devote his full time to party activities due to health-related issues in recent months, his thoughts remained focused on public welfare.

Addressing the gathering, Manohar recalled the Jana Sena’s role in the alliance’s victory in the last Assembly elections and said the party had succeeded in defeating the previous government and helping establish a people-oriented administration. He urged young party workers to take forward Pawan Kalyan’s vision and play a more active role in strengthening the organisation.

The event also doubled as a birthday celebration for Pawan Kalyan, with Manohar cutting a cake and conveying his greetings. Special musical performances and an exhibition of electric vehicles added to the festivities. Party leaders said the ‘Jai Kottu’ initiative is aimed at bringing more young people into active political participation and creating a stronger youth network for Jana Sena across Andhra Pradesh.
