The much-anticipated spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par, titled Sitaare Zameen Par, has officially received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), paving the way for its theatrical release on June 20, 2025.

The upcoming film, presented by Aamir Khan Productions, has already generated significant buzz with its heartwarming trailer, offering glimpses of a world filled with love, joy, and emotional depth. With the final nod from the censor board, excitement surrounding the film has reached a new high.

Directed by R. S. Prasanna, known for his work on the socially resonant Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Sitaare Zameen Par marks one of the biggest collaborations under the Aamir Khan Productions banner. The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles and introduces ten promising young talents: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
