Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C V Anand said sports and games increase physical strength and help us overcome work stress and stay healthy in life. Hyderabad Police Commissionerate Sports and Games Meet 2025 was inaugurated at GoshaMahal Police Stadium in the presence of Indian Badminton Players Saina Nehwal, P Kashyap and C V Anand, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad. 

The march fast organized by the police sportspersons was marked by the presence of Saina Nehwal, P Kashyap and CV Anand who hoisted the sports flag, released pigeons and balloons into the sky, and lit the Police Sports Flame.

The Police Commissioner congratulated the players who participated enthusiastically in these games, as well as the sports organizers. The players who showed talent in these games will have to participate in the state-level games to be held soon.

He said that winning and losing in games is not important, but how much talent you have shown in sports is important. The Police Commissioner said that through these games, your physical strength will increase, and you will be healthy to overcome the pressures of work.

Commissioner said “I am also a sportsman. If I bat, I have to score a century, and if I run, I have to win a gold medal in the hundred meters. If I lose in games, I won't be able to sleep that night, the commissioner said. He said that we should have competitiveness and perseverance.”

CV Anand said that the 2025 Annual Sports & Games Meet is being organized in 14 contingents with 24 different sports and games. CP has urged the police to stand with the inspiration of the Indian badminton players, Saina Nehwal and P Kashyap, who excel in sports and games, despite the high pressure of their duties.

He suggested that the Police Sports and Games Meet should be held every year as a regular event. He said that participating in sports should not be considered a waste of time. He said that this will help motivate the police and promote their skills. He said that this time, due to the large number of teams, we are holding it for four days.
