Real estate technology firm Square Yards has raised USD 35 million from investors, led by Korean venture capital fund Smile Gate, valuing the company at USD 900 million, according to sources.

Based in Gurugram, Square Yards operates mainly in property brokerage and home loan services. The firm posted revenue of Rs 1,410 crore in the previous financial year and has so far raised USD 170 million in total funding. Sources said the latest capital infusion came at a pre-money valuation of USD 900 million, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory. Square Yards declined to comment on the fundraising.

The company is now planning to raise an additional USD 100 million at a valuation exceeding USD 1 billion, a move that could elevate it to unicorn status. During the first half of the current financial year, Square Yards’ revenue rose 44 per cent to Rs 833.2 crore. With operations across India and the UAE property markets, the company is targeting revenue of Rs 2,000 crore for the ongoing fiscal.
