Srisailam suspends sparsha darshan

The temple management of the renowned Srisailam Temple has temporarily suspended Sparsha Darshan for devotees due to the heavy influx of pilgrims. Temple Executive Officer Srinivasa Rao announced that Sparsha Darshan services would remain cancelled from Saturday until Monday. During this period, devotees will only be allowed to participate in Alankara Darshan of the presiding deity.

However, the EO clarified that devotees who had already booked Sparsha Darshan tickets through the online reservation system would be permitted to avail themselves of the service as scheduled. Their bookings will remain valid, and arrangements have been made to facilitate their darshan without disruption.

Temple authorities said the decision was taken in view of the unusually high pilgrim turnout at the temple, one of the most important Shaivite shrines in the country. The temporary suspension is aimed at managing crowds effectively.
