SRM University–AP, Amaravati, has been recognised as a QS I-GAUGE Institution of Happiness (IOH) for 2025–26, reaffirming its commitment to building a positive, inclusive and well-being–centric academic ecosystem.
The prestigious recognition follows a comprehensive stakeholder survey involving students, faculty and alumni, assessing parameters such as emotional well-being, campus culture, inclusivity and overall satisfaction. The QS I-GAUGE Institution of Happiness is a national initiative that evaluates institutions placing mental health and human-centred development at the heart of education. The 2025–26 edition carries the theme “One Campus, Many Smiles: Celebrating Every Voice in Well-being.”
Pro-Chancellor Dr P. Sathyanarayanan said the university remains dedicated to fostering a culture of happiness and positivity, noting that holistic education is essential to shaping responsible and future-ready individuals.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ch. Satish Kumar stated that academic excellence and well-being are inseparable at SRM University–AP. He added that the recognition reflects the institution’s efforts to create a campus where students and faculty feel valued, supported and inspired.
