The Telangana Government will establish MSME clusters and is keen to provide all the help for this sector, said IT & Industries Minister Sridhar Babu while addressing a gathering at the "MSME Spark 2.0" conference in the city on Friday.

As part of the vision to strengthen the Telangana brand on the international stage, the State government will establish specialised MSME clusters. These clusters will be developed in collaboration with industry experts, ensuring they meet global benchmarks and enhance the sector’s overall efficiency and competitiveness, he said. He further added that investments in Telangana are robust and the recently concluded Davos Summit was testimony. Telangana government received Rs. 1.78 lakh crore investments at this year’s Davos summit.

"MSME Spark 2.0" conference was organised in partnership with the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), saw the participation of notable figures, including Dr. Malsur, Director of the Telangana Industries Department, and Rajesh Kumar, Chief General Manager of the SBI Local Office and Suresh Kumar Singhal, President of FTCCI, among others.

"Since 2014, a significant backlog of industrial subsidies has remained unpaid. Now, we are committed to clear systematically these outstanding dues. By the end of this March, we will disburse Rs.400–Rs.500 crore to industrialists," Sridhar Babu disclosed.
