The real objectives behind the formation of Telangana, namely "Neellu, Nidhulu and Niyamakalu" (Water, Funds and Jobs), have still not been fully achieved even after 12 years of statehood, resulting in growing dissatisfaction across various sections of society, Jana Sena Telangana leader Dr Gadala Srinivasa Rao said on Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference at the Press Club in Somajiguda, Dr Gadala, who recently joined Jana Sena in the presence of party founder and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, said the party would strive for the cause of a "Samajika Telangana" based on social justice, equal opportunities and inclusive development.

A medical professional who served the Telangana Health Department for over 25 years and worked as Director of Public Health for nearly six years, Dr Gadala took voluntary retirement two and a half years ago to continue public service through politics. He earned widespread recognition during the Covid pandemic for regularly sharing public health information and advisories through the media.

He said Pawan Kalyan had instructed the Telangana unit to actively raise public issues and fight for people's causes without worrying about criticism, personal attacks or political targeting. Reiterating Jana Sena's commitment to transparency and accountability, he said the party would focus on youth, women and weaker sections while working towards fulfilling the aspirations that led to Telangana's formation.

Dr Gadala said he joined Jana Sena not in pursuit of political posts but because he was inspired by the party's commitment to integrity, transparency, accountability and people centric governance. He asserted that Jana Sena is committed to ensuring political opportunities and fair representation for all sections, particularly weaker and marginalised communities, while working towards a socially just Telangana with equal opportunities, quality education, healthcare and balanced development for every citizen.
