Students throng to Telangana Rising Global Summit Open Day

The Telangana Rising Global Summit Open Day, themed “Emerging Technologies”, witnessed an impressive turnout on its third day, with thousands of visitors thronging the venue on Friday. The day opened with a thought-provoking session on “Resilience in Real Life,” attracting students from several engineering colleges across Hyderabad who actively participated in the discussions.

The session explored the growing importance of resilience in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Speakers highlighted how individuals can cope with personal and professional stress, adapt quickly to change, build leadership capabilities, and stay future-ready amid advancements in AI, ML, and other modern technologies. The discussions also emphasized cultivating a growth mindset and fostering problem-solving skills among the youth.

Distinguished speakers included G. Satyanarayana, former Chairman, UIDAI & former IAS officer; Jitendra Pucha, Chief Delivery Officer, Mastek Digital; Srinivas Atreya, CTO, Avika; and Kishore Uppalapati, CEO, Qylis. One of the highlights was the exceptional engagement from students, who posed insightful questions and interacted enthusiastically with the panelists.

Cultural performances by artists from various regions added vibrancy to the event. Visitors also showed keen interest in the exhibition zone, which featured over 27 stalls, including Aerospace, Musi River Development, Handicrafts, Tourism, Education, Karimnagar Ikat, Filigree, Cheriyal Paintings, and advanced cybercrime detection equipment, along with drones and robots. Aero-technology and modern devices drew particular attention.

Over 6,000 people attended Friday’s events, including 5,000 students and 1,000 general visitors.

The organisers announced that the final day of the Summit, scheduled for Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, will feature a special conference on Agriculture, Rural Transformation, and Farmers Rising and invited the public to participate.
