Suniel Shetty, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Kesari Veer, appealed to fellow citizens to plan their next vacation in Kashmir. Speaking on the sidelines of the award event ceremony, the actor recently talked about the importance of standing in solidarity with Kashmiris and promoting tourism in the Valley. 

The actor encouraged people to defy the fear intended by terrorist acts and instead, respond with support for the region and its people. “Humein nagrik ki taraf se ek hi karna hai, humein ye decide karna hai ki aaj se humaari agli chutti jo hogi, voh Kashmir mein hi hogi aur kahi nahi hogi. Unko ye dikhana hai ki humein darr nahi hai (As citizens, we have to do just one thing... we have to decide that from today, our next holiday will be in Kashmir and nowhere else. We have to show them that we are not afraid),” Suniel Shetty said.
