The Cyberabad Police, in collaboration with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and TGANB, organized the Suraksha Kavach Orientation Program at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate on Monday. The initiative aims to strengthen child safety in schools through four key pillars: physical, cyber, psychological, and road safety.

TGANB Director Sandeep Shandilya urged schools to organize awareness programs, stating, "Children must be equipped with strong moral values and the confidence to say 'No' to drugs. Schools play a crucial role in shaping responsible citizens, and proactive education is key to preventing substance abuse." He further added, "Drug addiction severely impacts brain function and damages epithelial tissues. We must ensure that students are aware of these dangers and have access to de-addiction centers and legal support."

Cyberabad CP Avinash Mohanty stressed the importance of structured safety clubs in schools to instill civic responsibility from an early age. SCSC announced plans to implement safety clubs in schools by June, urging institutions in Cyberabad to adopt the model and contribute to a safer environment for children.
