On a tip of information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone team, Hyderabad along with the Afzalgunj Police conducted raid on firecrackers godown in Hyderabad under the limits of Afzalgunj PS and arrested person who is illegally storing the explosive firecrackers in above mentioned residential premises and seized the different brands of firecrackers worth of Rs 18 lakh.

Accused identified as Shyam Kumar Sugandhi (55), resident of Abids in Hyderabad. Total 100 cartons containing various brands of firecrackers were seized.  

The accused, Shyam Kumar Sugandhi, who is illegally storing the explosive firecrackers in above mentioned godown premises without having any valid license from the concerned authorities and knowingly that, storing of fire crackers in residential area may cause severe damage to the human lives, property of the residents if any untoward incident occurs without any precautionary measures.
