The TDP’s membership drive extended beyond Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with participation from Telugus in the Andaman Islands and even NRIs, showcasing the party’s global reach. Lokesh congratulated all those who contributed to the drive, emphasizing the collective effort that led to this record-breaking accomplishment.
“The party activists are the backbone of TDP,” Lokesh remarked, adding that the yellow flag represents an emotional bond for all its members. He also detailed the party’s welfare initiatives, revealing that a welfare fund under his coordination has provided educational support to the children of 2,500 activists and extended Rs. 103.28 crore in relief to the families of 5,164 activists who lost their lives in various accidents.
