Telangana appoints 191 Archakas

In a historic initiative, the Congress Government of Telangana, under the supervision of the Endowments Department, has for the first time recruited 191 Archakas through a transparent examination process. The appointment orders were presented to the selected candidates today by the Hon’ble Minister for Endowments, Smt. Konda Surekha. The entire recruitment process was conducted in a fair, transparent and systematic manner, providing equal opportunity to all eligible candidates.

The programme was attended by the Commissioner of the Endowments Department, Sri Hanumantha Rao; Principal Secretary, Smt. Shailaja Ramaiyer; Brahmin Parishad Chairman, Sri Basavaraju Srinivas; Sri Govinda Hari; and several other dignitaries and officials.Sri Hanumantha Rao, who has been appointed as Commissioner of the Endowments Department for the second time, has been administering the Department efficiently and making sincere efforts to resolve various long-pending issues. His commitment, administrative ability and continuous efforts towards strengthening the Endowments Department deserve special appreciation.

Since assuming charge as Commissioner, Sri Hanumantha Rao has played a significant role in securing the sanction of 28 Grade-I Executive Officer posts and 58 Grade-II Executive Officer posts. These appointments and administrative reforms will greatly strengthen the functioning of temples and the Endowments Department across Telangana.
