Telugu Velugu Samakhya meeting held at IIMC College

The 12th Telugu Velugu Samakhya meeting was held at IIMC College in Lakdikapool, jointly organized by Yuvabharathi Literary and Cultural Organization and IIMC. These monthly programs aim to promote Telugu language and literature.

Presiding over the event, Prof. Phanindra highlighted that 38 organizations have joined hands to support this initiative. Chief Guest and novelist Vihari praised Yuvabharathi for its disciplined promotion of Telugu literature over the past 62 years.

Literary scholar Mallapragada Srimannarayana Murthy offered a critique of Sreemad Ramayana Kalpavriksham, the Jnanpith Award-winning work by Kavi Samrat Viswanatha Satyanarayana, noting its faithful reflection of Valmiki’s spirit. 

Kasturi Muralikrishna introduced K M Munshi’s translated work The Last Days of the Nizam’s Rule, shedding light on Telangana’s socio-political past.

IIMC Principal Kura Raghuveer shared insights about a recent national conference hosted by the college, with essay compilations distributed at the event.
