Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, along with his wife, participated in the ongoing Saraswati Pushkaralu by taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangam in Kaleshwaram, located in the Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, on Sunday.

Following the ritual bath at the Saraswati Pushkar Ghat, the Governor and his wife performed special prayers at the esteemed Kaleshwara Mukteeswara Swamy temple. They also visited the single stone idol of Goddess Saraswati.

The Governor and his spouse arrived in Kaleshwaram via helicopter from Hyderabad at 11:02 AM, where they received a warm welcome from Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu, District Collector Rahul Sharma, and SP Kiran Khare, who greeted them with a bouquet of flowers. The priests bestowed blessings on the couple, offering them white garments, laddu prasadam, pongali, and a memento of the Goddess.

During the Governor's visit, Minister Sridhar Babu provided an overview of the Saraswati Navratna Mala Harathi program that takes place each evening. The Governor assessed the preparations for Pushkaralu and commended the officials for their efforts. He appreciated the measures implemented to ensure that devotees would experience no difficulties.
