A 48-hour investment blitz redefines Telangana’s global growth trajectory  

In 48-hours flat, Telangana managed to garner Rs 5.75 lakh crore investments establishing Telangana as one of the fastest-emerging global hubs for industry, innovation and sustainable development. The Summit brought together global corporations, development institutions, innovators, investors and international delegations, accelerating the state’s journey toward Vision 2047.

Tourism, Sports, Innovation and Global GCCs Lead Day 2

Day two of the Summit saw significant commitments across tourism, sports infrastructure, mobility, R&D, global capability centres, healthcare innovation and urban development.

The tourism sector alone recorded Rs 7,045 crore in investments, generating an estimated 40,000 jobs. Major announcements include Foodlink F&B Holdings’ Rs 3,000 crore Integrated Convention & Exhibition Centre at Bharat Future City, Atmosphere Core Hotels’ Rs 800 crore Elite Wellness Retreat in Hyderabad, Dreamvalley’s Rs 1,000 crore Golf Destination, and Sarus Infrastructure’s Rs 1,000 crore International Cultural Centre. Global players such as Polin Group (Turkey), Fluidra (Spain), KEI Group, and Ridhira Group unveiled world-class hospitality and recreation projects, while partnerships with the Tony Blair Institute and ASEAN Tourism Ministries will elevate Telangana’s global promotion strategy.

Significant strategic engagements were also held with top global firms. Analog AI’s proposal for a Global R&D and Prototyping Lab, Altmin’s battery materials manufacturing project, Ajay Devgn Film Studio’s Film City plan, and discussions with Zurich Insurance, CIBC and Maximus for new Global Capability Centres marked Telangana’s growing influence as a global innovation hub. Manufacturing commitments included TWI Group’s Rs 1,100 crore hybrid motorbike plant and Mahindra & Mahindra’s fresh Rs500+ crore investment in electric tractor production at Zaheerabad.

Sports infrastructure gained momentum with GMR Sports Ventures’ Satellite Sports City, India Xtreme’s Rs 500 crore Adventure Arena, and confirmation of major global sporting events including the FIFA-AIFF Football Academy, Women’s Hockey World Cup Qualifier 2026, Asia Rowing Championship 2026 and the Hyderabad International Chess Festival.

Global real estate and infrastructure majors such as Blackstone Asia, Sattva Group, Sumadhura and Brigade Group explored townships, data centres, logistics parks and impact housing. In biotech and precision health, BioVaram and Vizzhy Holdings proposed advanced facilities in tissue engineering, cell therapy and multi-omics research.

UAE–Africa–India Investment Corridor

A high-level delegation comprising representatives from the UAE Royal lineage, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya and global investment leaders engaged with the Telangana government to position Hyderabad as a strategic investment gateway between UAE, Africa and India. Discussions included a multi-sector investment desk, partnerships in food security and climate-smart agriculture, opportunities in Future City, wellness zones, logistics parks and tourism clusters. The engagement laid the foundation for long-term trilateral collaboration with Telangana at the centre.

Rs 2.43 Lakh Crore MoUs across Deep-Tech, Green Energy, Aerospace and Textiles

Day 1 of the Summit witnessed 35 MoUs worth Rs 2.43 lakh crore, setting a strong foundation for the two-day event. Key agreements included Brookfield–Axis Ventures’ Rs 75,000 crore Global R&D and Deep-Tech Hub, Win Group’s Rs 27,000 crore renewable energy expansion, and Evren Axis Energy’s Rs 31,500 crore Solar and Wind Power projects. MEIL committed Rs 8,000 crore towards solar, pumped storage and EV infrastructure, while the World Trade Center announced a Rs 1,000 crore Innovation Hub. SIDBI pledged Rs 1,000 crore to strengthen the start up financing ecosystem.

Aerospace and defence manufacturing saw major investments with GMR Group’s Rs15,000 crore MRO and cargo expansion, Apollo Micro Systems’ Rs 1,500 crore avionics and defence systems unit, and extensive commitments in missile components, aero-engine structures,

logistics and supply chain capabilities from MPL Logistics and TVS ILP. Textiles and manufacturing also registered strong interest with Sitaram Spinners’ Rs 3,000 crore textile unit, and the Solapur Telangana Textile Association & Genius Filters’ Rs 960 crore technical textile and powerloom cluster. Important investments were finalized in hydrogen technologies, steel, cement and electronics manufacturing, strengthening Telangana’s diversified industrial base.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the investments reflect the strong global trust in Telangana’s governance and economic direction. Industries Minister Sridhar Babu emphasized that the wide range of sectors—from deep-tech to textiles—showcases the robustness of Telangana’s policies. 

With Rs 5.75 lakh crore mobilised in 48 hours, the Telangana Rising Global Summit has reinforced the state’s emergence as a global centre for high-value innovation, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, sports, urban development and future-ready technologies.

TG signs MoU with VIZZHY Holding Inc

In a major move to bolster healthcare innovation, the Telangana Government inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US-based VIZZHY Holding Inc. at the ‘Telangana Rising – 2047’ Global Summit. The agreement paves the way for establishing cutting-edge multi-omics labs, harnessing the company’s P-5 Solution approach to transform preventive medicine.

Led by Founder and CEO Dr. Vishnu Vardhan, VIZZHY’s delegation—including Dr. Anant Shekhar, Dean and Vice Chancellor of the University of Pittsburgh, and Co-Founder PS Kalyan Chakravarthy—met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at the Global Summit venue in Future City 

The 10-minute discussion highlighted VIZZHY’s breakthroughs, leaving the CM impressed. He extended a warm welcome to VIZZHY into Telangana’s health sector, emphasizing enhanced medical services for citizens.

Under the MoU, VIZZHY commits to investing Rs. 2,500 crores over the next 10 years. The initiative kicks off with a lab in Hyderabad—the company’s second after Pittsburgh—expanding statewide to deliver advanced diagnostics. Co-Founder Chakravarthy revealed that these labs can detect life-threatening diseases and ailments 5 years in advance through comprehensive health check-ups, enabling proactive interventions.

CM Revanth Reddy praised the P-5 Solution and pledged to visit VIZZHY’s Pittsburgh facility during an upcoming US tour. Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan were also the present.
