A delegation from the Telangana Government Employees Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC) met Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao at the Secretariat on Thursday and urged the government to take immediate steps to resolve several long-pending employee issues.
Led by Chairman M. Jagadishwar and Secretary-General E. Srinivas Rao, the delegation appealed for the implementation of the Employees Health Scheme (EHS) by framing clear operational guidelines, the release of one pending Dearness Allowance (DA) as per earlier assurances, and the convening of a Joint Staff Council meeting to discuss other unresolved service matters.
Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao reportedly responded positively to the representations and assured that the government would take necessary measures to address the concerns at the earliest.
TGEJAC leaders including Damodar Reddy, Vanga Ravinder Reddy, Madhusudan Reddy, Sadanand Goud, Katkam Ramesh, Mujeeb Hussain, Kasturi Venkateshwarlu, B. Shyam, Srinivas Reddy, Dasy Nayak, and Prem were present during the meeting.
