Jagadgirigutta police, with support from the SOT Balanagar team of Cyberabad Commissionerate, swiftly solved a sensational broad-daylight murder case and arrested three accused within hours of the crime committed on Wednesday at the Jagadgirigutta bus stop.

According to DCP N Koti Reddy, the victim Roshan Kumar Singh (22), an auto driver from Balanagar, was allegedly targeted due to previous enmity linked to an ongoing rivalry between the main accused T Bala Showreddy alias Badshah (21), and one Shareef, whom Roshan supported.

Bala Showreddy, who already has a rowdy sheet, procured a knife online and conspired with his associates Syed Mahamood (28) and Revo Aditya alias Adil (26) to eliminate Roshan. As per their plan, Bala called Roshan to the bus stop where Mahamood restrained him, and Bala repeatedly stabbed him.

The assailants escaped on a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle. Roshan succumbed to his injuries at Gandhi Hospital. The police seized a knife used in the offence, blood-stained clothes, Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle and mobile phones of the accused. All three accused have multiple previous criminal cases, as did the deceased.
