TPCC Vice President condemns police action in Delhi

Dr. Kota Neelima, TPCC Vice President and Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency In-charge, condemned the alleged police action against students protesting at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and demanded the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. She also condemned the alleged assault and detention of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and several leaders who stood in support of the students during the protest.

Dr. Kota Neelima participated in the “Chalo Raj Bhavan” program in Hyderabad under the leadership of TPCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud. During the protest, she, along with several Congress leaders and party workers, was detained by the police. Dr. Neelima reiterated that students deserve justice, not police brutality and that the credibility of competitive examinations must be protected. Dr. Neelima reiterated that the voices of students seeking justice should never be silenced through force.
