Actor Triptii Dimri is all set to impress audiences with her latest project Dhadak 2, a unique love story directed by Shazia Iqbal. The film showcases the journey of two law students, played by Triptii and Siddhant Chaturvedi, who navigate the complex realities of casteism and social identity while fighting to protect their love. Scheduled to release in theatres on August 1, Dhadak 2 promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of societal issues through the lens of romance.

During the recently held trailer launch event, Triptii shared her heartfelt experience working with director Shazia Iqbal and reflected on the collaborative process. She expressed immense pride and happiness being part of the film, stating, “From the time I heard the narration till today, I have only experienced happy vibes about it. There couldn’t have been a better director than Shazia Iqbal; she has given us so much freedom as actors.”

Triptii further highlighted the director’s empathetic approach, especially during intense and emotional scenes. “An actor goes through a lot to act in serious sequences, and she has always been there quietly, without trying to force us through it. She was always smiling, holding our hands — she is the best director. We were able to do everything because of her.”

This film marks Triptii’s second collaboration with Dharma Productions, and she said she feels “really proud” to be part of this project. Known for choosing diverse and challenging roles, Triptii surprises audiences once again by bringing a quiet strength and emotional depth to her character.
