K. Ratna Prabha, former Chief Secretary of Karnataka and Founder-President of UBUNTU Consortium, has been honored recently with the prestigious Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad Good Global Exemplary Leadership Award by the BRICS-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (BACC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The award, presented by Thayalan Nathan, President of BRICS-ASEAN Council and Nigerian Ambassador, recognizes her exceptional contributions to governance, institutional strengthening, and community-focused development.

Reflecting on the accolade, Ratna Prabha said that the recognition is a shot in the arm for UBUNTU, but it doesn’t alter their mission. She made it clear that regardless of awards, UBUNTU will continue reaching out to 10,000 women entrepreneurs, train them in digital marketing, expand to 100 associations, facilitate exports and forge partnerships with organizations across India and the world.
